Download red light on alarm system7/7/2023 ![]() ![]() I don't know maybe I am mixing things up.But assuming the same rationale, it would seem that Pylontech would have the highest capacity battery as master. ( Some load on a timer or is right about the US3000 being master as well, I have read that too. I'd rather do Ned Yu's suggestion or just use them a little bit. If you want battery longevity, stay away from the high and low voltage kneepoints on that graph.Ĥ.) As you can see there is very little Ah capacity to be gained by working into the kneepoints. As you can see from the graph it takes very little charge to shoot the voltage up so:Ģ.) It may result in your battery shutting down, to protect itself.ģ). ![]() So in your case it would appear to your full battery as if it was getting charged every so often. its under the Victron Q&A section.Īn equalize, is actually a higher than normal charging voltage used with Lead Acid batteries, that get this moving around on the plates and does a form of top balancing every once in a while. I found a site a while back explaining what in the firmware causes this, bu cant seem to find it now.ĮDIT: Wait here it is. The alarm is not serious, but it remains annoying. It does happen in battery backup systems without PV panels and self consumption. It will happen every 48 or 72 hours (Cant remember ) if you dont discharge your batteries. Is this something serious or is it an indication that the battery bank is only in stand by mode? I assume "ALM" represents "an alarm mode". At the moment the system just performs as a UPS. Then about 2 days later it was back again - after another reboot it was gone again. I rebooted the whole system and the "ALM" red led was gone. This past weekend the red "ALM" led light on the master battery appeared. They performing very well without any problems since I installed the first one in the beginning of June and the second one end of July. I now have 2 Pylontech US3000 batteries on 2x Axpert inverters in parallel with a Raspberry Pi and CCT monitoring program.
